上海野生动物疫源疫病研究院(筹)(以下简称“研究院”)由华东师范大学与上级部门共同建设,委托华东师大管理,相对独立运行。院区主要设置在华东师范大学闵行校区。研究院将以切实维护生物安全和生态安全,有效防范重大公共卫生风险,切实保障人民群众生命健康安全,促进人与自然和谐共生为宗旨,汇聚海内外优秀人才,建立集监测预警研究、疫源疫病研发、培训、资政、启民于一体的开放共享平台,服务上海筑牢重大传染病疫情防控的第一道防线,积极参与构建全球野生动物疫源疫病防控共同体。研究院设置四大主要研究方向:1.野生动物疫源疫病监测与预警研究;2.野生动物病原体演化及跨物种传播致病机制研究;3.野生动物源性疫情风险评估和决策研究;4.监测防控创新技术应用转化研究。
华东师范大学是由国家举办、教育部主管,教育部与上海市人民政府重点共建的综合性研究型大学。1996年被列入“211工程”国家重点建设大学行列。2006年,学校进入国家“985工程”高校行列。2017年学校进入国家“世界一流大学”建设高校A类行列。2023年,上级管理部门批准设立上海野生动物疫源疫病研究院,将重点聚焦“野生动物疫源疫病”领域的科学研究和人才培养。

一、任职要求
1、杰出人才
①在疫源疫病相关领域取得系统性、创造性成就,具有广泛的学术影响力;
②具备出色的人才培养能力和管理能力;
③统筹负责研究院的发展;
④年龄一般不超过55周岁。
2、学术带头人
①一般应在相关领域取得系统性、创造性成就,具有广泛的学术影响力;
②能独立发展和引领本领域研究方向,且具备出色的人才培养能力;
③年龄一般不超过50周岁。
3、学术骨干(青年高层次人才)
1)紫江优秀青年学者(青年领军人才)
①获得传染病学、生态学、生物学、分子生物学、细胞生物学、免疫学、兽医学等相关学科博士学位,一般应在海外高校、科研机构、企业研发机构获得正式教职,且具有连续3年以上工作经历;在海外取得博士学位且业绩特别突出的,可适当放宽工作年限要求;
②在本学术领域取得具有重要学术影响力的标志性研究成果;
③有较强的团队领导和组织协调能力,创新发展潜力大,并有望成为该领域学术带头人;
④年龄一般不超过40周岁。
2)紫江青年学者(青年拔尖人才)
①获得传染病学、生态学、生物学、分子生物学、细胞生物学、免疫学、兽医学等相关学科博士学位,原则上应具有1年及以上的博士后研究经历;在海外取得博士学位且业绩特别突出的,可适当放宽工作年限要求;
②已取得同行公认的高水平研究成果,有突出的发展潜质,并有望成为所在学科的青年领军人才;
③年龄一般不超过35周岁。
4、优秀后备人才
①获得传染病学、生态学、生物学、分子生物学、细胞生物学、免疫学、兽医学等相关学科博士学位;
②具有良好的科研工作基础并已取得一定的学术成果,有良好的发展潜质和创新思维;
③年龄一般不超过35周岁。
二、岗位性质及待遇

Recruitment Announcement for Shanghai Institute of Wildlife Epidemics (Preparatory)
The Shanghai Institute of Wildlife Epidemics (Preparatory) (henceforth referred to as the “Institute”), is a collaborative initiative between East China Normal University and higher authorities. Entrusted to the management of East China Normal University, the Institute operates relatively independently, and is primarily situated at the Minhang Campus.
The institute is dedicated to actively preserving biological and ecological security, effectively preventing significant public health risks, ensuring the life and health safety of the population and promote harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature. It aims to gather top-tier talents from both domestic and abroad to establish an inclusive and shared platform. This platform integrates research on monitoring and early warning systems, the development of emerging infectious diseases, training, advisory service, and public engagement.
Functioning as the vanguard in Shanghai’s efforts to prevent and control major infectious disease outbreaks, the Institute is also actively engaged in the global initiative to construct a community for the prevention and control of the emerging infectious diseases in wildlife. The Institute has four main research directions: 1. Monitoring and early warning of the emerging infectious diseases in wildlife; 2. The evolution of pathogens in wildlife and the mechanisms of cross-species transmission; 3. Risk assessment and decision-making related to epidemics originating from wildlife; 4. The application and transformation of innovative technologies in monitoring and prevention.
East China Normal University is a comprehensive research-oriented university sponsored by the state, supervised by the Ministry of Education, and jointly constructed by the Ministry of Education and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government. It was included in the national key construction university list under the “211 Project” in 1996. In 2006, the university entered the list of the national “985 Project” universities. In 2017, the university entered the list of A-class universities in the national “World-Class University” construction. In 2023, the upper-level management approved the establishment of the Shanghai Institute of Wildlife Epidemics, focusing on scientific research and talent cultivation in the field of “wildlife infectious diseases”.
To meet the development needs of the Institute, we are now openly recruiting 10-15 outstanding talents, academic leaders both domestic and international and academic backbones. 3. Academic Backbones (Young High-Level Talents)
1) Zijiang Excellent Young Scholars (Young Academic Leaders)
i. Hold a Ph.D. degree in related disciplines such as infectious diseases, ecology, biology, molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, veterinary medicine, etc. Generally, the applicant should have held a formal position in overseas universities, research institutions, or corporate R&D institutions for over 3 consecutive years. For those with exceptional performance with a Ph.D. obtained overseas, the working experience requirement can be appropriately relaxed.
ii. Have made landmark research achievements with significant academic influence in their respective academic field.
iii. Strong team leadership and organizational coordination abilities, showing great potential for innovation and expected to become an academic leader in the field.
iv. Generally under 40 years of age.
2) Zijiang Young Scholars (Outstanding Young Talents)
i. Hold a Ph.D. degree in related disciplines such as infectious diseases, ecology, biology, molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, veterinary medicine, etc. In principle, the applicant should have at least 1 year or more of post-doctoral research experience. For those who obtained a Ph.D. overseas with exceptional performance, the working experience requirement can be appropriately relaxed.
ii. Have achieved recognized high-level research results and exhibit outstanding potential for development, expected to become young academic leaders in their respective disciplines.
iii. Generally under 35 years of age.
4. Excellent Reserve Talents
i. Hold a Ph.D. degree in related disciplines such as infectious diseases, ecology, biology, molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, veterinary medicine. etc.
ii. Possess a good foundation in scientific research and have achieved certain academic results, showing good potential for development and innovative thinking.
iii. Generally under 35 years of age.
II. Position Nature and Remuneration
1. The positions recruited this time are all part of the university establishment. The salary and benefits will refer to the corresponding positions of world-class universities, providing competitive remuneration and housing subsidies. The salary standards will be in accordance with the corresponding position benefits for talents recruited by the university. Additionally, the institute will provide an additional annual salary of 100,000 to 200,000 CYN on top of the university’s salary and benefits to prioritize the comprehensive formation of the team, providing an international team of scholars, teachers, and staff.
2. In addition to the research start-up funds provided by the university, the institute will additionally allocate 500,000 to 1,000,000 CYN as a one-time start-up fund for the preliminary construction and development of the research group.
